Colin Wise Fellowship Grants

WICS offers grants to support professional travel or scientific research. They are named after the influential and much-missed Dr Wise of the CRI.

Applications should be made to Dr Karen Mottart, Treasurer. They are considered by Council and awarded twice a year. Four thousand pounds per annum (yes £4000!) is budgeted for these grants. The actual amounts awarded will depend on the number and quality of applications recieved and funds available.

Deadlines for applications are 1st June and 1st December. Recipients are required to present the results of their activities to the Society.

Recent beneficiaries include Dr Craig Williams - head injury audit, Dr Sabina Eggert - travel to Australia and Dr Ravi Taneja - research on leucocyte function in sepsis.
